A new event for 2012 and qualify points available for the SCA championship. Looks like it will be fast and interesting.

A very well attended, popular event, with a good mix of gravity racers and novelty carts and sidecars.

A 1km time trial event, with top speeds over 40mph. A cracking event and good hospitality from the locals.

A well attended event catering for a variety of gravity sports, including soapbox, skateboard, street luge and gravity bike. A safe track with lots of run-off areas, should you get it wrong.

In my opinion, the top cartie event of the year. A +60mph, 2mile long course, not for novelty carts. Individual practice and qualifying, then group racing.

The Castle Forbes Gravity Race is a brand new event for the Scottish cartie racing calendar in 2011. It will be a two day time trial event in the beautiful grounds of Castle Forbes, near Alford in Aberdeenshire.

A fun, but challenging event. Check out the videos on YouTube. Entrants have come from far and wide to challenge the locals and usually failed - are you up for the challenge.

One mile of fast sweeping tarmac, set in the heart of the North Yorshire moors. Excellent brakes required and not for novelty carts.

The Hawksland Hill Run is an open, but limited, series of competitions for non-powered bogies, carties, sidecars, luge and gravity bikes to compete down a closed public roadway at Hawksland village on Sunday 12 July 2015 over a course of approximately 800m. This is a distance event rather than a speed "time trail", with competitors looking to travel the furthest. there is also a ???King of the Hill??? pushbike hill climb; with various other activities including can shy, hoopla, treasure hunt, etc. Refreshments will also be available.

A well attended and fun event in the previous two year, with a significantly longer course in 2013 being retained for 2014. Looking forward to this event again, however less rain this year would be more comfortable for the spectators.
